The colourful interiors of Swathi and Adithya’s home are no less than a direct reflection of their vibrant personalities. For the interior design of this 2BHK in Nizampet, Hyderabad, they wanted to embrace as many colours as possible that complemented all the members of the family perfectly. To accomplish this, our designer Neha worked on creating a different theme for each room in the flat, flush with a host of colours. 

The two bedrooms, occupied by the homeowners and Adithya’s parents, reflect the difference in tastes between the family members. Notice how the colours in the kitchen match the couple’s clothes in the picture, too. Neha certainly understood the assignment when asked to add a pop of colour in each room in this 2BHK house interior design at Nizampet, Hyderabad! 

#2: A Colourful Open Layout Kitchen Graces This Compact Home

It’s a great feeling to be greeted by cheerful colours as soon as you enter your home. The kitchen in the interior design of this 2BHK in Nizampet, Hyderabad does just that. This 70 sq. ft. kitchen initially came with a wall where the breakfast counter currently sits. Neha suggested doing away with the wall to help open up the space for a better design.

The new open-concept kitchen layout gives the space a much more modern feel. The addition of the  breakfast counter not only helps create a niche for the kitchen, but also adds a subtle luxe vibe to this 2BHK house interior design at Nizampet, Hyderabad. Given the scale of changes required in this space, it’s no surprise that the kitchen occupied a lion’s share of the ₹3 lakh budget.

One thing that helped cut down costs was choosing MDF as the major core material for their modular kitchen and cabinets.

#3: Master Bedroom Wardrobes That Resemble the Colours of Google

Being an IT professional, Adithya first met his wife Swathi at Google. United by the primary colours found in the Google logo, the homeowners decided to infuse it into their wardrobe design. These three colours not only add a vibrant pop to their 2BHK house interior design at Nizampet, Hyderabad, but also stand to be a testament of their adoration for each other.

A yoga teacher by profession, Swathi requires a fair share of space to conduct her yoga sessions. Since space can be scarce in a 2BHK, our designer Neha had to get creative. 

Livspace designer Neha suggested the use of a pull-down bed that can help clear up floor space when not in use, making it easy for Swathi to better optimise her bedroom floor. Now, Swathi can easily practise her yoga classes in the comfort of her bedroom without worrying about space. 

Compared to the other items in this 2BHK house interior design at Nizampet, Hyderabad, the pull-down bed was relatively more expensive, averaging around ₹80,000 to ₹90,000. However, it still proved to be a great space-saving investment for the family!
